This bespoke shower screen installation by PAR Glass combines clear glass, textured detailing and dark metal framing to create a distinctive yet elegant bathroom feature. Designed specifically for the space, the enclosure complements the marble-effect finishes while adding a more contemporary architectural element to the room.
Custom shower screens are particularly effective when standard off-the-shelf enclosures would compromise the layout or overall design. For this project, the glass panels were carefully measured and manufactured to work around the existing bath, walls and surrounding features
The slim dark frame gives the enclosure definition without making it feel heavy, while the generous areas of clear glass help preserve the bright and open character of the bathroom.
One of the most distinctive elements of this installation is the horizontal section of reeded glass running across the shower screen. The textured finish gently obscures the view through the enclosure while continuing to allow plenty of light to pass through.
It also introduces subtle visual interest, breaking up the large areas of clear glass without taking away from the clean overall design. Combined with the dark framing and warm metallic bathroom fittings, the result feels both contemporary and carefully considered.
The shower enclosure is manufactured from high-quality safety glass and fitted with durable hinges and hardware suitable for regular use. Its smooth surfaces make cleaning straightforward, while the combination of clear and textured glass provides a good balance between openness and privacy.
